Spiderweb Cookies: spookily delicious Halloween treats!

A Halloween movie night without some delicious snacks? No way! Planning a scary movie marathon or simply craving something sweet? These Spiderweb Cookies are a must-try.

With crunchy chocolate chip cookies and fluffy Frisia marshmallows, you can whip up the perfect Halloween treats in no time. By stretching the melted marshmallows into thin strands, you can create a spooky spiderweb effect. Super easy, delicious and perfect for Halloween!

What you’ll need

For 6 Spiderweb Cookies:

  • 6 large chocolate chip cookies
  • 4–6 Frisia marshmallows
  • A small amount of butter
  • Additionally: Frisia Halloween Mallows to serve alongside

How to make them

Prepare your cookies.

Arrange the chocolate chip cookies on a plate or serving board. You can use store-bought cookies or bake your own favourite chocolate chip cookies.

Melt the marshmallows.

Place the Frisia marshmallows in a microwave-safe bowl with a small amount of butter. Heat briefly in the microwave until the marshmallows are soft and melted. Stir until you have a smooth, sticky mixture.

Create your spiderwebs.

Allow the melted marshmallow mixture to cool slightly until it's safe to handle. Take a small amount between your fingers and gently stretch it into long, thin strands. Drape the strands over your cookies to create a spooky spiderweb effect.

Add the finishing touch!

Repeat until all your cookies are covered in spooky spiderwebs. Serve them with our Frisia Halloween Mallows, shaped like little ghosts and pumpkins, for an extra spooky snack platter!
