Spooky Ghost Cookies: Spookily Delicious Halloween Treats!

Halloween is just around the corner, and that can only mean one thing: it’s time to get creative in the kitchen with some spooky treats! Looking for a fun snack for your Halloween party or a cozy movie night? These Spooky Ghost Cookies are just what you need.

Warm chocolate chip cookies, melted chocolate and fluffy Frisia marshmallows transformed into adorable little ghosts. A deliciously sweet combination that tastes just as good as it looks. And the best part? They’re super easy to make!

What do you need?

For 6 Spooky Ghost Cookies:

  • 6 chocolate chip cookies (or cookie dough if you prefer to bake your own)
  • 6 Frisia marshmallows
  • 6 rectangular biscuits, such as Petit Beurre
  • 6 pieces of milk chocolate
  • A black edible food marker to draw the ghost faces

How to make them

Prepare the base.

Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Line a baking tray with parchment paper and arrange the rectangular biscuits on top. Place a piece of milk chocolate on each biscuit.

Add the marshmallows.

Place a Frisia marshmallow on top of each piece of chocolate. Then cover with a chocolate chip cookie.

Time to bake!

Pop the cookies into the oven for a few minutes, until the chocolate begins to melt and the marshmallows become soft and gooey. Carefully remove them from the oven.

Bring your little ghosts to life.

Using a black edible food marker, draw two eyes and a little mouth on the exposed side of each marshmallow. Place the marshmallows on top of the warm cookies and gently press them into the soft marshmallow filling. And voilà: your very own edible ghosts!
